Helen Boulding ‘Crooked Tooth’ (Single) Released 13th January 2014
‘Crooked Tooth’ is the brand new single from singer-songwriter Helen Boulding, taken from her acclaimed album Calling All Angels, and co-written and produced by Pete Glenister (Alison Moyet, Kirsty MacColl).
As well as a list of impressive support slots (John Mayer, Bryan Ferry, Ronan Keating), Helen has also written for various other artists, including Passenger, Janet Devlin, The Overtones and Paul Van Dyk. ‘It’s been a busy year writing for other artists, but I always wanted to go back to ‘Crooked Tooth,’ it’s one of my personal favourites. Musically and lyrically’
‘Perfect is not always the most attractive. But the perfect imperfections are, that’s where the substance lies and what makes us fall in love with someone, the charisma, character & chemistry.’
Her debut album New Red Dress was released in 2008, making BBC Radio 2’s Album of the Week, and gaining critical acclaim along with a Radio 2 playlist for its single ‘Copenhagen’.
